Common questions
- How is my dog's size decided?
- By height at the shoulder: small up to 35 cm, medium 35 to 50 cm, large above 50 cm. Size is a guide. Coat length and condition also affect the final quote, which we confirm before starting.
- What is the difference between a basic and a full groom?
- A basic groom covers hygiene and a bath: nails, ears, pads, sanitary areas, anal glands, wash, dry and brush, plus a tidy of the nose bridge and paws. A full groom adds a whole-body trim or breed styling.
- My dog is matted. Can you help?
- Yes. Dematting is an add-on from RM15. Severe matting may need a shorter cut for your dog's comfort. Your groomer will explain the options at drop-off.
- Do you groom anxious or senior dogs?
- Yes. Groomers work one dog at a time and take breaks when a dog needs them. Tell us about any health conditions or sore spots when you book.
- Can my dog stay the night after grooming?
- Yes. PGH is also a pet hotel. Stays over six nights include a free basic groom.
